I'm so glad I found Cait! She was responsive, professional, willing to travel to meet me for both our trial run and the wedding day, and fun to work with -- plus her commitment to using cruelty-free and vegan products was perfectly aligned with my values. I asked for some changes after our trial session, and she took that feedback and adjusted accordingly. I couldn't be happier with the result on my wedding day -- I had the beautiful, natural look I wanted, and the makeup held up through the ceremony and dancing as well. I would hire Cait again in a heartbeat.

Words can not describe how incredibly happy I am I went with Caitie for my wedding day! I do not wear make up on a daily basis and wanted a very light natural look but still enough to cover the imperfections with a mix of stress acne. She spent so much time with me discussing every detail no matter how small to ensure I had the exact look I was going for for myself, my bridesmaids, my mother and my now mother in law! She went above and beyond to help make my make up perfectly flawless, and it lasted all night even with all the dancing! She was warm, friendly, extremely professional, incredibly knowledgeable! When I had a preliminary phone call with Cait and she asked questions about my skincare routine and the wedding's aesthetics, I knew she was going to have an eye for the right details. A month before the wedding, I had a very helpful makeup trial with Cait where we fine-tuned what I wanted -- she asked me good questions and made helpful suggestions. On the wedding day, Cait and her assistant were a total dream to work with. The entire makeup experience was so calming (I can't say enough about how nice the mini-facial was at a moment when I had such butterflies). Everyone looked absolutely stunning and Cait really captured my desire to have everyone look like a glowing, fancy version of their natural beautiful self. My sisters and bridesmaids looked gorgeous, and my mom, who truly never wears any makeup at all, was really happy with her look. My own makeup was just what I wanted -- natural, but glowing. Where can I even start?! I can’t say enough great things about Cait. From the very beginning and all the way through, Cait was amazing. I am so picky and was so back and forth and had so many questions (that I’m sure I asked multiple times). She stayed patient with me and answered all of my questions. My husband and I got married during covid, so our plans changed as to where I was getting ready. She was very understanding, and had no hesitation in accommodating the changes. On the day of, Cait came more than prepared. Everything was clean and sanitized. She even went as far as to buy individual makeup brush sets so nobody used the same stuff. During the entire application we talked as if we were best friends. I felt so comfortable with her. Once my makeup was completed I was in awe. I never wear a lot of makeup and I thought I was going to feel uncomfortable. Let me tell you- I felt so incredibly beautiful. Her technique is ON POINT. I didn’t feel cakey at all. My makeup felt light, but I still looked like I was on a movie set or something. I got so many compliments, some people even complimented me more than once. I am so happy I worked with Cait!! Cait was fantastic! She did such a good job and made sure everyone was comfortable with their makeup. My mom and my mother-in-law could not be more different in the amount of makeup they wanted and she made both of them comfortable, happy and beautiful! She was great at accommodating my difficult schedule for a trial, and really went out of her way to make everything work! She also had a great calm demenor that was great in the chaos of wedding getting ready!

I’m the bride who didn’t have a specific vision for what she wanted which honestly could have been a disaster if not for Cait. I’m also not one for filling out reviews but I am doing one today because my day would not have been as perfect with someone else. Cait created the perfect look for not only me but all of my bridesmaids (which let’s be honest- isn’t always easy). She made sure everyone was happy and accommodated a last minute request to help fix something after she had already packed up. Being a UK bride eloping to NYC, I really struggled to find a make up artist that had a great portfolio and was also reasonably priced. I stumbled across Cait completely by chance when she offered her advice in a meltdown thread I’d posted on Facebook, she was one of the very few who reached out without trying to sell her services; she just wanted to help. Right from our initial conversations she went above and beyond, and even took my booking (and pity on me) despite it being out of her usual work area. In the build up to the wedding she was super informative and made sure I knew exactly how to prep my skin, we had a ‘virtual’ trial and generally put me at ease. I think the best way to describe my experience of working with Cait is to say I absolutely cannot imagine my wedding day without her. Not only was her work impeccable, professional and exactly what I wanted but she was so supportive and truly looked after me the entire time she was with us. I was genuinely sad to leave her. She was super friendly, sweet and amazing; it felt like we’d been friends for years. In terms of the actual make up and application, Cait’s ‘skincare first’ approach definitely sets her apart from any other artist I’ve worked with or looked at working with. I was genuinely shocked at how little product I was wearing when I cleansed after the wedding was over, purely because my skin looked so perfect and I’m 100% certain its attributed to her prep work. There was no creasing, no ‘cake’ and my lashes didn’t budge one bit; which says a lot because we had our reception on a boat! I’ve also never seen a make up artist more prepared with such an extensive kit! The products used were all either professional or high end which was very impressive not to mention the magic she worked with them. There are literally not enough words to compliment or thank Cait for everything she did for me and my bridal party before, during and after the wedding. I’m truly excited for any bride who chooses to book with her for their special day, because they are in the best hands.

When my husband and I began wedding planning, makeup was one of the scariest things that crossed my mind. I was the woman who only felt comfortable in mascara because anything else made me feel like I was wearing a mask. But when I met Cait for our wedding shoot, those worries vanished.
